Looking at Mitch McConnell leaving the Senate yesterday is so extremely concerning to me a Medical Professional because it’s obvious he’s not mentally competent & is just being used for his votes. He’s being prompted to say Yes or No & this should be considered elder abuse.

McConnell spent his career taking pleasure in hurting people. I don’t feel sorry for him. I feel disgusted that his own party is now parading a visibly broken 84-year-old around the Capitol so they can squeeze one more vote out of him. At some point this stops being “service” and becomes elder abuse. Only a morally bankrupt party does that.

He is completely stroked out. My dad looked exactly like this after his series of strokes. I’m no fan of him but this is still abuse.

The first time I saw this video of him yesterday I said this was elder abuse too. He’s absolutely not mentally competent right now and the Republicans are just using him, keeping him barely alive. Didn’t they report in the news 3 months ago he was brain dead for a while?

Congress makes its own rules while taxpayers foot the bill. We need age limits and independent medical clearance—if a member isn’t cleared, they shouldn’t be allowed to vote, and no one should vote on their behalf.

I’m no medical professional, but, the mom of a son who lives with us, who is significantly impaired due to a brain injury 27 years ago. I’ve seen that look for 27 years now…that’s an injured brain!
