We deeply appreciate the recent gestures of respect and support from the Pakistan Embassy towards Bangladesh, and we welcome such positive engagement. However, we would also like to draw attention to the pressing issue of approximately 3 million Bengali-speaking Pakistanis living in the slums of Karachi. It is concerning that these individuals continue to face neglect and are denied their basic human rights, including access to NICs. This longstanding issue highlights a need for urgent action from the Government of Pakistan. We respectfully urge the Pakistan High Commission to actively advocate for the rights and welfare of these individuals. Concrete steps toward resolving their plight would not only demonstrate genuine commitment to humanity but also strengthen the bonds of mutual respect and understanding between our nations. Meaningful action speaks louder than gestures of support.
