Looking back at some older Minecraft projects which I never got around to posting. I'm still particularly fond of this creature Soko 🇵🇸 cappin and I made for a moonflower event, even though I would have executed the code and effects much differently today

They checked my osteoarthritis, I got some pokies and yabbies, and have an ear infection, they treated. But, even though Mom brushes my teefies, I have to have some removed soon. I still got peanut butter treatos for extra special patients. Although, I think all doggos get them, they just wanted me to feel special! Video: Sampson lying on a tile floor as Mom scratches his back, and rubs his ear. He looks back happy at Mom. Then a few still photos of Sam looking serious then happy.

I can't believe I'm sharing this, but here is 13 year old Tom, vlogging on his youtube channel from his bedroom. This a video from a channel long since shut down, from the year of our lord 2010. None of it is my proudest work - but I got better as I got older. I learned skills and made friends, some of whom I still know to this day. Making these silly videos over time taught me so much about video editing, talking to cameras, and being effective on social media. I failed a lot before I got better. But I had the chance to try. I developed skills that have helped me enormously in adult life. Had I not been able to make silly videos on youtube - and get motivated/excited about thousands of people watching them - my subsequent life would have certainly looked very different. Some might argue that would have been for the better, but it would have certainly been for the more boring.

I was going through my media files and came across this montage of some of the work I have been blessed to do. Still laugh heartily at a lot of these bits 😂. So very thankful, especially because I realized how much more has been done since this was made. I always make free things for small vtubers or friends and I realised maybe I'm doing it wrong and the right way is to go for the top of the top and see if that gets me noticed. Waited 6 months for a broken model with heavy warps, disconnects and odd looking physics. Didn't even ask for the full refund, just the half and never got a single penny back. Instead of grieving, I learned to rig my own models and am still proud of myself to this day ❤️
