Looks incredible but $2000 is crazy

Defeats the whole purpose. Brisket was invented because some genius found a way to take a cheap, almost worthless piece of meat and turn it into a delicacy through expert cooking. This sure isn't that.

I have 2k to kick around I’m buyin a 300 gallon smoker.

Spending so much on brisket and then putting it on a pellet grill... I like pellet grills, but you will never achieve the bark or render the fat as well as with an offset smoker. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

What fuels the current obsession with cooking (and squeezing) giant slabs of meat? Is it a FY to the non drinking/smoking and or vegan/veggie/nonbinary movement? Only half in jest, I’m quite curious about it

The whole point of smoking meat is because it's not the best cut.

Wagu is good but I'd never pay for this even if I was rich, rather give 2 grand of food to the homeless shelter.

If Im buying waygu it's gonna be a steak, not a brisket. And I wouldn't pepper it to death or pay 2 k.
