On the day before the big Tesla Semi Rollout event at Giga Nevada, one is on prominent display at the Tesla World Headquarters here at Giga Texas today! Looks really good & this is going to change freight transportation in more ways than most understand, starting tomorrow! Congrats to the entire Semi Team for all the hard work to get to this point and best of luck at the Rollout Event tomorrow!

Ok Tesla AI what have you done here? I thought the word "sentient" was hyperbole but after experiencing this "car" find its way out of a multi-level garage like a human, I'm very impressed. After dropping off an Uber passenger who I took home from work tonight in a very rainy Houston, and on my way to pick up my next Uber passenger, Tesla FSD avoided an accident with a truck that wasn’t looking when it backed out into the road. Thanks to Tesla AI and FSD, I’m still out here on these rainy Houston roads getting people home from work. Amazing job Tesla AI! Ashok Elluswamy

My Tesla Robotaxi dropped me off here, which is right in front of a speed bump. When it started to get going, it hesitated to get over the bump for ~4 minutes. It kept going back and forth, and called support. After support was called, it still was stuck. Eventually it got out of the bump, but Im just posting this edge case because I predicted this may happen which is why I started recording. Hopefully they can fix this before wider rollouts. I thought it might think those bumps were a curb/obstacle but the screen shows no such thing. Skip to the end of the video to pass over all the micromovements of the car and see it go free. The stop was smooth and our Tesla Robotaxi allowed him to get back on the sidewalk and continue with our journey. This man is likely oblivious to what the team at Tesla AI did for him today.

After waiting over an hour for a ride Tesla Robotaxi support tells me to go home.. 😣😭 They said that they don’t show any Robotaxis in Dallas. The rep went to get confirmation and they said they see the post from Ashok Elluswamy and Robotaxi but can confirm there is nothing showing in Dallas on their side…..go home. Robotaxi is not live in Dallas. Who do I believe? What do I do? Here’s the call …. This stuff is why people get frustrated with Tesla
