What makes me laugh is the forward player is blocking the lane to the CB most of the time during this clip, I'm assuming the forward has like 30/40 defensive awareness so what exactly is going on, why is the AI so clever in that situation when the stats are so low

There are times when someone rubber bands and it is genuinely more difficult to score than when the real life human was actually controlling his players. Think about that…

Frostbite is CHALKED, bro. Until that gets ripped out and they build from the ground up, nothing will ever change. Game is a fuckin frankenstein monster after years of being built on the same new gen code base.

I said if before but apparently wingers have better tackles, reaction times and now defensive awareness than actual defenders. It’s so pathetic.

A video game doesn't have to be super realistic, but this is just a circus. A sensible match engine will have ensured that someone pressing like this will get punished left, right, and center.

It's so ridiculous the 71 depth haha. EA has to fix that man. You literally can't even play normally with your midfielders or even in the middle without being pressed crazy by the AI...
