I'm not sure why someone would apply asphalt sealer to concrete. Also, as a kid, I striped & sealed parking lots & know for a fact this has creosote in it which will burn the living shit out of any skin it gets on. Dude's nuts for blowing it without long sleeves & pants on. 🫣

If this is up north, the cracks and holes in the driveway should have been filled first. If this is down south, black will draw the heat like a furnaces in the summer time, making any car parked on it super hot as well. Kids cant walk across it and barefoot is a no,no!

@Gitmo99 For yearly maintenance, this would be fine. However, the better course of action would be to squeegee it on rather than spraying it on. Spraying creates air bubbles that will soon break open and peel the seal away from the asphalt. However, for a cheap fix this is OK.

Problems I see: 1. Asphalt sealer on concrete. Odd choice. This will retain heat. 2. No ppv, not even pants and long sleeves. 3. Trashed the grass on both sides. 4. Squeegee is better than spray for adhesion and durability. Slower though. Advantages: 1. Fast.

Not digging the overspray onto the lawn though.

@eagameover Big mistake! Pressure washing and sealing the concrete is a more lasting solution. Asphalt is tar, in hot climates has trouble with liquifying and tracks into the house and vehicles. And it will need recoats and is flammable.

Try cleaning the concrete first! Then leave it. Start coating and you never stop. Dumb not to mention hot.

Too thin will never last ... watered down scam. That's a small drive 2 or 3 bucket will get it done correctly with a squeegee.

That's how they normally apply sealcoat. If he was really good he would have cut the edges ahead of time and then he wouldn't have lapped under the grass or the street. That's actually very sloppy on the edges.

Love all the grass he killed with the over spray.
