Encampments should never be next to our homes, schools, or playgrounds. Yesterday, I joined residents in Encino to tour several homeless encampments around the Sepulveda Basin. I listened to their concerns and witnessed firsthand the frustration and neglect they’ve experienced from our city officials. We must do more to provide those in need with the right care, resources, and support to help them get off the streets. Nowhere in Los Angeles should conditions like this be allowed. It’s time to do better.

Regina has an estimated homeless population of 800+ people, a 255% increase from 2015. 75% of Regina’s homeless population identifies as indigenous. Local activists called on councillors to end forced evictions of encampments and provide more services.

The city of Los Angeles went and cleared homeless encampments on a street and put up large orange barricades to block them parking their RV’s So what did they do? They all moved just 1 street over. RV’s and encampments go on for half a mile and the area is seeing shootings and stabbings This is Democrat leadership. Block one road but let all the homeless move one street over The barricades they put up also block all parking for law abiding residents Stop voting Democrat

The magic number is 46 — that’s how many encampment fires are happening every single day in Los Angeles. Our firefighters are stretched thin, our communities are at risk, and leadership is nowhere to be found. This is unacceptable. Enforce the law and fund LAFD.

For the first time in NFL history, a team will take their draft operations to a fire station when the Los Angeles Rams draft from Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Air Operations. The Rams and LAFD will convert a room within LAFD Air Operations to serve as GM Les Snead and HC Sean McVay’s draft headquarters April 24-26, as well as an adjacent hangar to serve as space for coaches, scouts, team personnel and media on-site during the three-day event.
