New LASA data shows the homeless population is INCREASING “Well, the data makes it clear that the progress the city of LA has been making on homelessness has not just stalled but reversed — the numbers were officially released today — just in the city of Los Angeles, the LASA count shows the number of homeless ticked up 3.4% That now puts the city's homeless population at just over 45,000. But if you look at those classified as unsheltered, and that means they live on the street or in a car, that population in the city went up almost 8%. This is the intersection of Lake Street & Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles, California Just one week ago the city came out and cleaned the homeless encampments and trash from the intersection Now one week later the trash is back and the homeless are now seen one street over, all the money was completely wasted and it’s just as trashed as it was before It’s true, I found the LAPD and LA Sanitation conducted a major cleanup under the CARE+ program. They clear tents blocking sidewalks, debris and a significant rat infestation Democrats policies don’t work because they don’t address the real problem. The homeless can’t be allowed to do whatever they want and live in the streets California needs new leadership

The large Long Beach California Pride Festival has suddenly been canceled by the City Tens of thousands of people were expected to attend but because of permitting issues the event was cancelled hours before it was supposed to take place The NGO called Long Beach Lesbian and Gay Pride Inc kept selling tickets all the way up until the cancellation just hours before the event was set to start (but they clearly had to have known they didn’t have the right permits) They are not offering automatic refunds, everyone must reach out to get a refund The parade is still happening tomorrow but the big festival that was supposed to happen today way cancelled It’s amazing they plan anything at all in Long Beach with the out of control homeless population that walks the beach like zombies and harass people One interesting thing to note, the city cleans up around the beach whenever there are big events, but ONLY when there are big events. The trash, graffiti and homeless return literally the next day

I’m in downtown D.C. and need to show you something incredible… This park, one of the nicest spots in the city right next to the Capitol, was once completely overrun by a homeless encampment. Now it’s clean, safe, and people can actually walk through again. Completely unrecognizable. This is what it looks like when you take the city back for the people. Thank you, Trump administration.
