Losing their pets will drive MM hunters mad, but the eagle replacement for lust/procs looks and sounds great.

Honestly my issue is the other way around, I love my hunters just being sharpshooters/snipers, and now they're saddled with this random eagle pet lol If I didn't know better, I'd almost think they were freeing up that 'lone sniper' archetype for a future class like Tinker lol

Not sure I've heard of an MM hunter that even wants to use a pet to begin with but personally my issue with this is that it basically forces an eagle companion on you when that's not something your specific character might even do otherwise.

My problem with hunter is that they reinvent the flavor every expansion and it's hard to stay invested. I don't want an eagle, I just want to be a sniper.

My issue with Hunter is that it forces you to play a certain fantasy. Pack Leader that let you summon Rexxar’s pet kills customization, and MM being stuck with an eagle does the same. Both are beautiful, but they limit the class fantasy even further.

I just don’t understand the super one-sided idea of it all - this eagle fits with like one of my ten hunters, if even 🥲

I was hoping that they'd learned from past experiments with removing player agency, but it seems that they still want to continue tilting at that windmill.

Ya having to go BM for pet tanking isn't great, but I am still enjoying the new MM more than live. The eagle needs some customization options though. It shouldn't only be an eagle.

The forums has such a weird loud minority that don't want to lose pet access but idk any competitive MMs that use their pet at all. They all complain over a 2% DPS loss to use a pet. They need to try it out, get over it, and add lust to all hunter specs baseline.
