Losing your job must be really tough 💔

I went through this in 2021, that was one hell of a year. I lost my father, lost my job, lost my car and lost my then girlfriend All in one year. Depressing hit me so hard. I haven't fully recovered

An ugly space, however the positives are u learn to not be attached to things, especially materialistic. It also taught me nothing is forever, i can move from Porsche to a tazz, a townhouse to a backroom ekasi, unbothered. @eugenekhoza 1s touched on this on @podcastwithmacg

I know every one says new beginnings, new start, stay positive, etc. but when you are in the middle of that situation you won’t be able to see the wood from the trees. You are not able to think because you are in survival mode.

sad part is some people in the replies, said they went through the same thing not so long ago

I had a car repossessed in August 2015. A white VW GOLF 7, it was tough but I bounced back. I have bought 5 other cars since then, all cash, after going 3 years without a vehicle. Tough times don't last but tough people last.
