dropping 9 bars on water logged crib looking like it hosted exorcisms, meth meet-ups & a sequel to Backrooms 💔

Backrooms: Sea Point

this has to be a joke, someone bought a traphouse for R9m?????

literally

mr Karan.👋🏾 you once posted some great stock returns from a portfolio that you and yours had cooked up. you posted a link for those who want exposure to you and yours' genius. that link didn't work for me, can you please link me.

What drugs are they doing in Cape Town???

what drugs were they doing in this house?!

From Breaking Bad to breaking badly

At this point, the whole City of Cape Town should be investigated for Money laundering... Ayikho le!!

@iamkoshiek isnt this where the Chernobyl event happened?

😂😂

I can smell it through the screen and a 9bar property shouldn't smell like that!

Is there no ombudsman in this property market, this is financial and economic redlining, it is low key discrimination and apartheid

WOW!!! 😮 This is most definitely a foreign buyer, no South African in their right mind would put down R9m for that, looks like it needs another R9mil in renovations , this was pure day light robbery, pure crime scene 😱

A proper scam and I blame the buyer infill for it…

Crazy in Cape Town

20 years from now, we gonna be reading articles about how Cape Town properties were used to fund wars overseas 😭😭😭😭. 9bar? What’s the rest of the 8.5 for?

They're paying for a house in Sea Point. Rare as hen's teeth in an area where you'd pay the same for a 2 bed apartment. It will be completely gutted, if not demolished and rebuilt.

The carpets really tie the place together.

Another million just to clean those carpets...

This has become legitimised money laundering.

You buy and rent it for 60k per month this is madness This happens when a country have an influx of undocumented migrants

Surely the target market doesn't know that for R9m In south Africa, You can get a whole lot more. But I suspect the point is to make cape town, exceptional.

R9 million for THAT

For the first time in my generation’s existence, i saw two parking bays being sold for R3m+ in Cape Town, 2 Parking Bays!

At this point this should be a crime because what do you mean 😢

Guys he is not talking to us, I mean we still owe airtime advance 😭😭😭😭We are definitely not the target market

@BafanaSurprise So they haven’t updated it since 1978 and left the murder stained carpets for fun 😭😨

@LPTwentyNine Looks like a crime scene…

@BafanaSurprise That's insane. Surely this is a bubble waiting to burst?

Step 1: Buy for R9m. Step 2: Demolish. Step 3: Build a block of flats. Step 4: Sell each one for R5m. The Sea Point circle of life.

Oh Jehova! What is this? That flat seems even smaller than my tiny place and for R9m? Nah, these people know SAns won't afford those prices. They are handing over our suburbs to the dollar holders. I dislike property agents sfapano

@anneme69 In Plett, a buyer would pay more than that just for a beach front house like this just to get hold of the the land, so presumably they’re going to demolish it.

If you shocked with the 9m come next year this property will be double. One key word was multiple offers which meant they didn't even struggle to sell it. This property is 550k usd now for someone who stays in USA NYC or London that's a steal.

@Char_2709 see why you buy ice cream ya 20 ka 60 🤣😭

I don’t have proof but I’m certain the person who Bought this is not South African

The only way that makes sense if that house was expropriated from a cartel and there's R50m worth of diamonds or drugs hidden in the floorboards... Or something...

Absolute fucking madness. 9 million. Please tell me it’s a joke.

Having lived in CT previously, this sent me down a massive rabbit hole. The 2 bed in Gardens for 8 million, and a cramped 2 bed in De Waterkant for 6mil are personal favourites

9 million rand for that outdated and dirty looking house?? That's actually ridiculous. I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom, multiple living area house with two flats and a swimming pool that is like R2m for in Gauteng
