In this instance, they bring on a former Biden Admin Advisor to say: Egbewole: I don't think there's anybody in the Democratic Party who should feel pressure to support Graham Platner. I certainly don't and just because Senator Elizabeth Warren says that is her kind of man does not mean that has to apply to everybody. My kind of senators are the ones who come from Georgia. They have different principles and values than Platner. I think that Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren will have to carry that themselves.

Now, with Graham Platner finally out of the race—I was happy to see that he submitted the papers to fully get out of the race this afternoon. That is the first step that needed to happen." It's just that the allegations from that particular woman, I feel like, are the most egregious. And so, I think that people are zeroing in on that." Mills: We’ve run people against Susan Collins before, and she has won. She won handily the last few times, and she won because we ran people who were untested. I don’t know much of anything about Graham Platner. I know a couple of the other guys who are running—one of them is a brewer. It’s one of the reasons I said I’d have a beer with him. But, I’m the only one in the race who’s actually won an election, and that’s important to have under your belt. (10/14/25)
