LOTR (1978) - Don't make a sound...

10/10 song

I'm so glad I got to see that in the theater as a kid.

scene so good pj straight up copied it frame by frame

Brilliant. I had been reading LOTR for the first time and went to the cinema to see this. Upstairs at the Apollo, Glasgow, with the guitarist from my prog band, Harlequin. Great days…

animation used to be art

Great scene !

My dad took me to see this - I was 8 & knew nothing about these books but I really liked it! 💛💛💛💛

I grew up with these ☺️

Absolutely peak cinema Saw that on a big screen in NYC I was 14 and lived in NJ and gathered the guts to take a bus into the city which was even more unsafe back then So, I had my own hobbits journey just to see this This scene scared the bejeesus out of me

Man, this takes me back...

Boy Jackson really borrowed a page here.

Beautiful

I wonder how much Warner Bros. and/or paid the writer of this movie from 1978.

Thank you, what a great one. Saw it in the theater.

The stone is too heavy (like the ring). I am grateful to whoever tried to carry it. Special respect to PG 😄

@trader1sz thoughts on the OG Lotr movie?

Me and my best friend from high school saw it in a drive through when it came out without a car on the other side of the fence we hopped the fence and grabbed a speaker. So sad no sequel

This is better than that movie.

The best!

You can still see this movie from youtube for free
