You’ll need a loading component for your loading component if you’re using Lottie

Winter move? Cozy up to your favorite TV & movies. #moving #newhome #internet #tv #streaming

Except ouch

Yep, it comes with a cost. Lighter than rendering gif, but still

We do this, but find that even a simple lottie animation takes long enough to load that sometimes it doesn't even appear before the page switches. Was going to make it a server component but lottie doesn't seem to work server side. Might just use gif, any better ideas?

Try gif, but they need time to load as well. I'd use Lottie animations only for something that predictably takes a long time to load (e.g. non-streaming AI response) and use CSS animations (spinners/skeletons) for everything else

Neat loading component!

cool

Very Cool!

Ow, nice. Now I follow you and I believe that we'll learn a lot.

so cool 🔥🔥 Could you please share from where you obtained the dotlottie-player component?

You can get it from Pick animation, click download, select "hand-off"
