I assume if you think the show ending is how the books will end, you haven't read the books. There are too many other characters at play, characters in different places, characters who are dead in one and alive in the other, and vice versa. It is not in the realm of possibility.

genuinely amazing to me that people can read five books straight of dany getting glazed by the narrative as a kind and beloved figure and expect her to go insane and kill a million people in the last two books because of the infamously bad final season of a tv adaptation

@daychalrie i think the insult is uncalled for, but i do think you might be putting too much predicative power on this clip, its clear that *some* things from the book ending were adapted, namely that bran becomes king

@daychalrie george may not have been in the day-to-day loop but that alone leaves room for the biggest aspects of the endings, like the fates of the protagonists, can feasibly have came from george. not saying that means mad dany is true or even likely just that this clip isn't disqualifying

@daychalrie Totally agree. He's said he told them of some major plot points, such as Bran being king, and the Hodor moment, but it's very clear he was not involved after S4, and that's why the show took such a downwards turn from S5 onwards.
