In Maharashtra we have a BJP lead government however still the loudspeaker levels are high in mosques and it disturbs the surrounding areas. Even Saudi Arabia has stopped playing the azan and prayers on loud speakers. The local police does not take any actions on erring mosques.

What was the noise? Ppl talking or praying or having iftar? Recollect my sleepless nights for weeks during some celebrations as noise , roars n music all night from a pandal .. Wow ...

Wish Mumbai Police does this. In Mumbai, the Masjids compete with each other about who will blare the loudest Azaan. #Ramadan or any regular day, the situation is the same every day, 365 days.

Same is happening in my area, at 5 in morning we have loud disturbing bark from 2-3 mosques nearby (sprouted recently!) and no one seems bothered even when a local VHP guy lives nearby flaunting a big saffron flag on his house!!
