I thought World Rugby's primary source of income is the World Cup and their thinking is that every tier one country doesn't deserve an equal chance so revenue potential is the primary consideration? And that this essentially locks out SA and NZ from (middle income and tiny)?

World Rugby will not have it here ever again because we do not have the power of the dollar or the euro. WR only want cash they do not care about the game beyond that.

It wont happen because of financial reasons. We need to give world rugby some guarantees also our currency is not the best.

SARU has said not in the foreseeable future. Plus World Rugby is pooling at Chile-Argentina or Italy for 2035
