Boom-boom Becker was his nickname, so-called for his hard-hitting forehand shots. In life he’s had his ups and downs - including a stint in Wandsworth prison. Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda & which is surrounded by five covered colonnades. Here a great number of disabled people used to lie - the blind, the lame, the paralyzed. One who was there had been an invalid for 38 years. When Jesus saw him lying there & learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.” Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat & walk.” At once, the man was cured; he picked up his mat & walked. The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, & so the Jewish leaders said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.” But he replied, “The man who made me well said to me, ‘Pick up your mat & walk.’ ” So they asked him, “Who is this fellow who told you to pick it up & walk?” The man who was healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there. This is the man who helped subdue the passenger who was trying to open the emergency exit door on Frontier Airlines flight 3345. His name is Josh Longood, an Ohio native, a true hero who saved the day and helped take control of the situation. Josh was on a flight home to Chicago from his brother's bachelor's party in Puerto Rico when another passenger allegedly assaulted a flight attendant who attempted to pick up his bag and then attempted to open an emergency exit door on the Frontier flight. Longood was in the right place at the right time. He's a former professional MMA fighter and a current competitive BJJ black belt. He said he is lucky he is a light sleeper and was only a row of seats away when everything went down. Longwood said he restrained the man once for about 10 minutes and then a second time when the man slipped his restraints. He controlled him for another 20-30 minutes until the airplane made an emergency landing in Miami. You can see the authorities waiting for the plane to arrive and escorting the man off the plane. Apparently he was drunk. Thankful for people like Josh. We need more in this world like him. If you are trained in martial arts, have you ever had to use your training to save yourself or someone else?

Unhinged trans student completely loses it over pronouns earns a trip to jail for battery. A University of Central Florida (UCF) Police officers were originally dispatched to the UnionWest student housing building in downtown Orlando to investigate a report regarding a stolen vehicle. While on-site working the vehicle theft, officers were suddenly drawn into a loud, public dispute involving an individual named Jay Lee, who was screaming at building security staff about unauthorized kids on the property. When officers stepped in to de-escalate the situation, the primary officer warned Lee to lower his voice, stating he would place him in handcuffs and transport him to a facility under Florida's Baker Act due to a clear mental health crisis. The confrontation quickly reached a boiling point when the officer referred to Lee using the masculine pronouns over the radio. Lee exploded, screaming at the top of his lungs: "Just say the right pronoun!" and "Just say she!" Refusing to get on the ground, Lee retreated to a mailroom door as the primary officer drew his OC (pepper) spray. Despite repeated warnings that he was about to be sprayed or tased, Lee continued to yell, pull out his phone to record, and resist compliance. When officers moved in to physically secure his arms, a chaotic struggle broke out near the lobby turnstiles. As officers forced Lee against a reception desk to get the cuffs on, he actively fought back. According to the officers' post-arrest debrief captured on camera: Lee rotated around and threw a closed fist at the arresting officer. He grabbed the officer's uniform microphone and attempted to rip it off, stretching it out. He threw a direct kick that struck an officer once they moved toward a second elevator bank. After multiple backup units arrived to help pin his legs and finish the handcuffing process, Lee was escorted outside to a patrol vehicle. Officers confirmed he was being booked on the following felony charges: Resisting an Officer with Violence Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer (LEO) While Lee claimed it was all a "big misunderstanding" and that the police escalated the situation, officers noted that hd would likely be placed into protective custody at the jail due to his high level of distress. This is yet another example of this clear mental illness and just how disconnected individuals like this are from the real world. You can only help that he gets some real help that brings him back into reality so that he can live the rest of his life without episode like this or disillusion.

There were so many classmates who were better than I was. I did a lot of recording, but back then, I was just someone who watched other people stand on stage. I could only look on with admiration. I was someone who simply longed to be up there myself. 🐹 So, the people who made that dream of standing on stage come true are all of you. That's why each and every one of you is so precious to me. What #Villains mean to Gunil: 🐹 The very first thing that came to mind is... you're like stars. When everything feels dark, you make the night beautiful. You become my light. And among stars, my favorite constellation is the Big Dipper, and my favorite star is Polaris (the North Star). You're that kind of presence to me. Always staying in the same place, always shining your light on me without ever changing. 🐹 And honestly, one thing I'm especially grateful to Villains for is that... I'm really just an ordinary person. There's nothing particularly extraordinary about me. I'm just the same as anyone else. But despite that, you all support me and love me. There are people who tell me they've found strength through my drumming. 🐹 The fact that I can be that kind of person for all of you... I'm so thankful for that. Ms Lee Jiyoung, Big Mama member, posted about her interaction with Taehyung on Instagram. 👤 Today I finished my performance and was coming down the stage at the Chuncheon District Festa when a very handsome soldier greeted me. I looked to see who it was and it was BTS V @/thv hoobaenim!! I've always seen his cool self on stage but I had no idea he would be so gentle outside of the stage. He is even more handsome in his uniform. Since we were so busy, we didn't even manage to take a picture together so I thank kuang-nim @/kuang_725 for leaving this video. Please stay healthy while you finish your military service and I am cheering for you and to see your cool self again 🔗
