St. Louis means everything to me. It’s the city that shaped me, and now I get to share its stories. To be recognized as the first woman named Missouri Sportscaster of the Year by my peers at National Sports Media Association is the honor of a lifetime. It’s something I never could have imagined while walking the halls of Clayton High School. Getting to cover the hometown teams and people who inspired me growing up has been a privilege. Thank you to KMOV for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to do what I love. Eads Bridge, spanning the Mississippi River connecting Illinois to Missouri and the cities of St. Louis to East St. Louis. Apparently, it was built to look old from 1867-1874. Designed by James Buchanan Eads, engineer and inventor who is also credited with building those very interesting looking Civil War ironclad gunboats. NOTE-Hit the volume for more details on this video.
