The clip didn't do Capt. Stubbing justice here. He was baiting Gopher into standing up for his friend by being the antagonist.

There was no outrage, in part, because there was no social media encouraging outrage. If one person was offended, they were offended alone. Now you have the Evangelicals who see culture wars as a way to power.
