That’s my queen right there. I’ll never forgive the Naruto fandom for what they’ve done. I’m starting to think that it’s not that Kishi messed her up. It’s the fan base that made Kishi not develop her further bc she started getting development in shippuden but the fans barked.

Honestly, you gotta give the girl credit... She's the only one in her grade who didn't have: a demon inside them, a blood limit, family jutsu, or god chakra...and she's probably top 5 in Konaha.

She's a great character but man... Kishimoto really messed up the pacing of her development imo. Made me sad. Genjutsu prodigy never developed. She didn't have any manifestation of her extraordinary chakra control that we got to see when she blossomed. Her inner-rage is a joke.
