I’m going to be intellectually honest here and am not proud to say this but even though I have been consistent on my support for Israel if I was in Nazi Germany I probably would not have been the person hiding Jews in my attic. I would be the person who tries to ignore everything and stay neutral for my own self preservation. I feel like a lot of us would have fallen into that category because the fear of death is very real. That’s why most good people in Nazi Germany did nothing.

But they're not imagining how they would have hidden Jews in their attic. They're fantasizing about how they would have called the Gestapo about the Jews hiding in their neighbor's attic.
