Dermot Gallagher just makes it up as he goes along. Anything possible to back up the ref, even if he humiliates himself. Refwatch would be a lot better if you had another voice who wasn’t a ref, it is not balanced to have a person who understands football and one who doesn’t.

We used to have proper bald ex-refs. Game's gone.

“Which I am entitled to” yeah mate we know that that’s why you’re invited weekly to give your opinion, it’s a debate. These guys act like teachers the second someone dares questioning the reason behind it, you’re not on the pitch anymore.

If I showed you the clip of Gabriel headbutting Haaland and Martinez's 'pulling' of Calvert-Lewin's hair. Then told you, one of these players got a red card as it was deemed 'Violent Conduct'... Which one are you choosing? Game has gone mad!

These refs act like they're in some sort of cult. It's worth having him on just so we can see how corrupt and biased they are. He does this every week though. He's lying. It's not an opinion. It's flat out lying to support the ref.

He doesnt think that pushing a mans head with his own head is violent conduct? He should be nowhere near the sport then.

Bit of respect lost for Dermot here, more interested in defending the ref and their institution but it was a red all day long.. especially when you look at the reds being given for similar and less offenses.!

Why do they always have to make it about their opinion when its supposed to be the law of the book/game 🤡

Defending the indefensible. Even Arsenal lifers can't agree with Dermot Starmer. If I shoot a rifle at someone and miss... 🤷🏻‍♂️

We'd be mid table now if these clowns had done their jobs this season and you can see why when they double down on decisions they know are utter bollocks

I’ve seen countless players sent off for that action and for less, anyone and everyone who’s seen, watched and football knows that is a headbutt in football terms and is 💯 a red

His job isn't to educate or inform, his job is to manufacture rage clicks for Sky. There's more dignity in blowing strangers for a fiver in the dark corner of a Lidl car park than what he does for a living.

Politician behaviour, hes on guard from the moment the simple facts are laid out. He knows it's wrong and he likely has been given a brief to align with. Honest people always come across pretty honest not slimey like this.

I'm almost positive I've seen Dermot Gallagher🟥someone for doing exactly this,In fact In my 45yrs watching football,I've never see a player NOT🟥for this (When it has been seen) I'm Spurs, but West Ham should be playing Arsenal minus Gabriel, @FA_PGMOL where's the integrity ?

Profilbild von Peter Dunn

That is violent conduct with intent in my book. If a player can be red carded for touching someone's hair which is classed as violent conduct and be banned for 3 games, then Gabriel has to go.

another perfect example of why refs force players to fake injury to get correct decisions. You can see a lot of refs make their minds up based off players reactions not what they have seen beforehand. Weak refs ruining the game

It shouldn't be a matter of opinion. Gabriel clearly makes a movement of a headbutt. So many incidents where Spurs players have been done, whether accidental, intentional or not. The refs have a clear bias and agenda for all but the blinkered to see.

PGMOL are everything that's bad with the game. They shouldn't be anywhere near VAR. VAR would work with ex-players from the lower leagues, and a time limit

Haaland should’ve gone down because if the roles were reversed you can guarantee Gabriel would’ve dropped like a sack of spuds,Gallagher is a waste of space. Last week blaming Romero for getting pushed into his oncoming keeper!! The refs in the premiership are shockingly bad

This is a perfect example why the referring standards in the @premierleague are so piss poor. Even with VAR the refs are clueless, also when the press, pundits and fans all agree the ref got the decision wrong, refs/ex-refs still can't admit they made a mistake
