We are going to upset at how many ground balls to second Alek is going to be hitting tomorrow

The lineup is loaded. After the atrocious defense all around tonight, I’d rather have Alek’s glove out in center.

I agree. However, I am not a fan of McCarthy. He is a good player, fills in nicely and comes through when given the chance, but I see him as just that... a fill in player that comes through when he gets that chance. I don't see him coming through as an everyday player. Hopefully I am wrong and he shows he can be the everyday CF if that is the direction they go... but I like Alek in CF much better. Last year was a rough year for him, definitely a sophomore slump, but I think they gave up on him too quickly and if given the chance to show he can play everyday like he was meant to, he will rise to the occasion and show he belongs in CF and have productive ABs.

That looked like a tough catch to make. The ball was sinking. It isn't as though Jake dropped a routine fly ball . I'm not sure Alex would have made that catch either.
