She’s local, but I had never seen or heard of her before she walked into our facility wanting to try out Ballplex homeschool program. Right away, after talking to her for a few minutes, I could tell she was a very mature kid with a great attitude. Then she started swinging and I remember thinking… who are you and why have I never seen you before? lol The reality is Audri didn’t truly fall in love with the game until recently. She has only played travel ball once and was mainly just playing high school softball. But this past season, her passion for the game came back strong and now she’s very determined to pursue softball seriously. Audri has been part of our homeschool program the last few weeks and she has quickly become one of the hardest workers in the room. She’s super coachable, adapts very fast and has been making great adjustments already. She’ll continue working with us this summer and is hoping to find a team where she can showcase all the work she’s putting in.
