This is the land of my birth! Today, those words take on a special meaning as we celebrate 63 years of independence. It is a moment to pause and reflect on the gift and responsibility of calling Jamaica home. Ours is a land of golden beaches and turquoise seas, of lush mountains and fertile valleys, of sunsets that take your breath away. But our greatest treasure is our people; resilient, creative, determined, and bound together by love for this island. We have faced challenges, and we will face more. But we are a people who rise, who rebuild, and who never give up on the dream of a better Jamaica. This was Alba’s song. I used to play it to her and sing it when out looking at the sunrises and sunsets. I’ve no idea how it happened or where it come from but the best part is when you read the lyrics. I’d love people to play it on full blast and think of her happy wagging tail. As 2025 draws to a close, how has this year been for you? This time of year always brings back certain memories — those “what if I could go back...” moments. We asked several Kling AI creators around the world that same question. Their answers were simple, yet deeply personal: Chinese creator Yanzhi Zhang shared about Aki, the family dog who passed away after 13 wonderful years together. He remembers how Aki would always run ahead during their walks, then pause and look back, waiting for them to catch up. If he could go back, he would run a little faster — so Aki wouldn’t have to wait so long. Spanish creator Koldo recently welcomed his third child. His days are now filled with love, laughter, and beautiful chaos. But one afternoon, stepping into the kitchen, he realized he couldn’t remember the last time danced barefoot with his wife in that room, just the two of them. He wishes he could have one more of those simple, intimate moments. French creator Minuit said if she could go back, she would hug her parents one more time on Christmas Eve. She lost them both in her teens, and every Christmas since has felt like something was missing.
