@SlimChanceMusic Ronnie was WAY more than ' a bassist' . Wasted in the Faces but blossomed again when he left. The body of solo work he has left us is large and of an incredible quality and variety. It's yet to be recognised,but Ronnie Lane is as good a song writer as the very best.

Yes it’s so raw and powerful! Ronnie Lane was a beast on the bass🤘… and how about the moment when Rod takes over the lead vocals🔥

Definitely one of the best cover versions ever 👏

Ronnie was a wise old soul🤣

Also wrote much of the Small Faces' best material, such as Show Me the Way and Song of a Baker....his great, old soul has been missed for over 25 years now.

A real good time band with players who didn’t push their talents but all had their moments in the sun, however brief.

@SlimChanceMusic ✊🏻✊🏻

Ronnie Lane was the heart of the Faces. After he left it was a quick slide to the bottom.

Superb rendition of a classic. Love this
