Love this guy! How many cities are run like this?

What politicians love the most, is that messages like this will NEVER make it to mainstream media and will just die on Social Media as it's shared by 50 people or less. This is the type of message that should be on every news front page.

How many aren't? Public sector unions are killing our cities. Here's how it works: Unions go to city officials and say, "Give us a raise, and we will pour more money into your campaign funds, and we'll get out members to go out and campaign for you. You'll get re-elected, and we'll get more money. Win-win!" And the only ones who get screwed are the citizens. It works at the state level, too. The unions run California. That's what the crazy train to nowhere is all about. Payoffs to unions and Democrat donors. The same with the homeless situation. The money goes to NGOs who pay their leaders huge salaries, donate to Democrat campaigns, give a little money to the homeless in ways that perpetuate the problem, and the number of homeless increases. Same with the money raised for the Palisades fire victims. All the money that was supposed to go to the victims when to NGOs, some of whom had nothing to do with anything related to the fire. The state government is corrupt. The only thing that can save the state is federal investigations and indictments. I only hope that will happen.

It may be clever, but when you're taking to corrupt people, like this city council, they are paid to not give a shit. They will do whatever the criminals who bribe them want then to do. We have about two years of freedom if people don't wake up that this isn't a feel-good movie.

Public sector unions have transformed government into a legalized money laundering operation. A system that allows people to effectively vote themselves pay raises & benefits using taxpayer money, in exchange for allegiance to a particular political party is unsustainable.

The perfect description of how Victoria BC and many large towns in the province are run. The NDP school their candidates from school boards on up through council and various committees. Get good enough, they allow you to run as a provincial MLA

In my city, the people voted down a sales tax increase. The city council decided to just go ahead and do it anyway. They abolished the statute requiring voter approval. They have consistently spent millions on pet projects and not kept within their budget.
