It’s the first year my kid won’t be trick or treating, she’s aged out if it. There’ll be only one house in the neighborhood that I’ll miss, and I might go there anyway. They don’t give any candy out to the kids. Instead they pour shots for the parents.

My six year old granddaughter is autistic. Last year she actually wore a costume and went trick or treating. Even said trick or treat and thank you. Wish I could have been there to see it

I wonder if kids believed their parents when they explained for the first time what they do on Halloween. Like you're going to wear a costume, knock on your neighbors door and they are going to give you free candy.

That very first one was exactly how my 2nd child did on her first Halloween!! 🎃 Ran right into the foyer!! The people laughed hysterically! 🤣
