A couple of years ago my lil Gunda became a star in the sky, I couldn’t kiss him, or hug him or feed him anymore, he left a hole in my heart that I couldn’t fill. That’s when I made a promise to him that I was going to love, feed and look after all the animals around me. I realised, that not only did I see him in every animal that I loved, but i felt his love from every animal that I helped. This love i received helped fill the hole in my heart, it has helped my heart feel complete again, and helps my heart grow with every animal I help. But I wanted more... so, I had to give more… which is why I started the Praana Animal Foundation. :) Today, we launch The Praana Rehabilitation and Adoption Centre for cats. RFK Jr. said: “When my brother David died I had a conversation with my mother, who had been through more than her share of loss and tragedy. I watched this video and cried—a cry of release, of catharsis, of love for the broken road to get here. Allie Ostrander created a 10-minute documentary on the Leadville 100 course record, live now. I am so in awe of her art and storytelling, and I’m so thankful for her friendship. 20 years from now, her video is how I want to remember this experience. In April, I was hit by a car while biking. My brain didn’t feel like my own for months after. But something happened in that accident that helped me run freely on those trails. Allie captured it in a way that I didn’t fully process until those tears started flowing. The crux of Leadville is Hope Pass. When I was in the depths post accident, that name felt appropriate. Dennis mentions Padres looking for a lefty bat preferably in LF. One of the names he mentions is Mickey Moniak. He’s probably my favorite target because he’s shown success at Petco. Something that I do think is important because it’s a brutal place for lefties to hit at. Someone like Arraez suffered a lot because of Petco nullifies hits. Moniak at Petco 55 PAs .278/.291/.574 36.4 K% 1.8 BB% .531 xSLG He’s going to strike out and not walk much but give me the slug trade off. I’m looking for someone to slot in the 2 hole with more juice than Crone. 126 wRC+ vs righties since coming to Rockies. Important because opposing managers are less likely to bring in a lefty reliever when you’re sandwiched in between 3 righties like Tatis, Manny, and France. Moniak is under control for another season after this one so cost shouldn’t be too crazy. There’s definitely risk with this profile but I’m down to bring home the hometown kid.
