Such sad news for you, your family & Sooner Nation. In 1995 he had one of the greatest Februarys in Big 8 history. Was in awe of what he, @CoachSampsonUH & @OU_MBBall accomplished that season. Never got to meet him during my travels to Norman but was a huge admirer. RIP, No.12.

Truly one of the BEST to ever wear the Crimson & Cream. PERIOD!! SOONER LEGEND!! BIG PRAYERS UP!! 🙏🏼☝🏼❤️

Very sad to hear this. Spent time with Ryan in Philly with the Sixers. A Good man, good player that was fun and easy to be around. Rest In Peace.

What a competitor, awesome friend and great teammate.. Love you my Sooner brother RIP

I’m sorry for your loss. He was someone that many of us including me looked up to as a young athlete growing up in Oklahoma.

Wow that brings back memories. I thought I was a good player until I played against both of you in high school. You two were obviously on a different level. Praying for your family.

🙏🙏

RIP Legend 🙏🙏

Dam right! My hero growing up! I tried to master everything he did in my driveway. We are with you Ryan! We have always been. Much Love to you and your family.
