Loved this so much

i love that there's a whole chapter where he goes on a sidequest for a magic sword, super duper wasn't expecting eggers to have game brain going into this one

that spear catch and him throwing it back at them before they enter the city is crazy

Love The Northman

The Northman is a masterpiece that was not appreciated enough. Robert Eggers managed to showcase Norse mythology with his classic theatrical style and his fascination with the history and folklore of each culture. I would trust him to do a true adaptation of "The Odyssey".

Highkey this is Eggers best movie

The Blood of the Dawn Walker might let us do this. Chop a dude then rip their throat out after

Robert Eggers should have directed The Odyssey

The Dark Souls boss fight mid way also !

His slow hulking around was like the Rambo parody in UHF.

ngl it felt exactly the same as the billion other sword/horse combat oners we've seen in the last 15 years. Its like there's a some law where you have to include a combat oner in your medieval media. Uninspired, generic and honestly unworthy of an Eggers film.

Werewulf foreshadowing. Bravo eggers

One of my fav all time scenes

8 year old me with a foam sword at the renaissance fair beating up the 6 year olds.

The single cam one shot is tremendous in this scene

They're gonna do this to me at work tomorrow

This movie really felt like playing a third-person action game in the best way possible. Every shot was so dynamic

The direction in this movie is so underrated.

It’s crazy how bad this movie was

What a fuckin film

Y'all notice the ONE verfied account in the comment section posting obvious rage bait😑

there's no shame in enjoying gay porn but please keep it off my feed

He kinda walks like Haaland

Reminds me of that one shot in children of men

This scene was a masterpiece. I wish the rest of the movie kept the same intensity. I was somewhat disappointed in the 2nd half but overall a great film. This sequence was easily the standout.

I love that you can see the exact moment we switch from cutscene to gameplay in that clip

Amleth was a dog

love that bjork is in this film

What movie is this

@SAMEOLMSTK

He walks like Haaland runs!
