Loved this team

@MattGilesBD A Duke title that came outta nowhere. Remember the switch getting flipped on for Zoubek vs Maryland in February. They just took off from there.

This team….not one super star. A true team! Loved this group. And oh to see Singler smile again like he did after the title game!!

The David vs Goliath story sucks. Before the season began, espn analyst picked who would go to the final 4 and like 6 out of 18 analyst picked Butler to make the final 4, none picked Duke, but then they switched the story around when the season was over for their own narrative.

I have to say it every time. This team was the last of a dying breed in Duke basketball. a core that went through the fire together for 3-4 years. 2006-2009 was not kind to Duke at all. Everything they went through prepared them for that run in 2010

Still my favorite Duke team ever.

"It's THEIR first." That is how every team enters the season. It doesn't really matter what anyone did before them, it's their team and the opportunity is theirs alone. Go get 'em Duke!

I will love every player on this team forever. And it's not just because they won the title. This will always be one of my favorite groups of guys. 💙
