The indigenous and other people sitting at the encampment were peacefully minding their own business, before they were set upon by THUGS. There is NO EXCUSE for this behaviour.

One irrefutable lesson I’ve learned is that despite scholarships, benefits and even NIL, these are still young people—most of whom will never play their sport professionally—trying their damn best to win. I absolutely loved Jay Johnson’s comments on Jordan Thompson after LSU won the national championship.
