LSU’s Brian Kelly said SEC coaches want a scheduling agreement that would see them each play one non-conference Big Ten school every season, then play 9 conference games, plus 2 others.

•The false start call on John Michael Schmitz. •The non-call for pass interference to Wan’Dale Robinson. •The non-call for pass interference on the final play of the game in the end zone. I’m not one to blame officials for losing games, but when it’s obvious, sometimes, it does need to be pointed out. Like the non-pass interference call to Darren Waller in the Week 6 game vs the Bills that ended the game. That was as blatantly bad as it got. In the Giants 33-25 loss yesterday to the Eagles, the officials were pretty bad to where several non-calls were that obvious. “I think there were some flags that could have been thrown, but that is not our place. That is not fair. If it’s a call, call it. It shouldn’t be a last-play mentality. If it’s a call, and if it’s blatant, then it should be called. It should be honored like it is the first play of the game.”- Giants QB Tyrod Taylor. “I’d say, any official questions, you can ask those guys.”- Giants head coach Brian Daboll, who clearly looked angry when he entered the press conference room, probably knew he’d get a massive fine if he said what he wanted to, so he kept it simple.

This family was at the beach. They got there early and set up in front so they could watch their kids play in the water. Then this family shows up and they set up in front of them. 🤯 There was no one to the left or the right of them. Clear as could be. 😳 A lot of people said they should have moved closer so no one could set up in front of them. But many others said if the beach was open and there was no one to the left or right of them then that is just plain rude. I always leave a little sand in front in case my kids want to play or we usually throw our boogie boards in front. I’d have been irritated and would have asked them to move. 💯 What do you think? Was it rude of the second family to take their view away and set up in front of them or is it the first family’s fault for not setting up closer so no one could be in front of them?

After 50 hours, God of war Sons of Sparta Platinum 100% is done! Full thoughts: - The game gets better and better the more you play - Boss fights where awesome - Fun to see Kratos as a kid but also wish you could play sections in 2D as the adult - OST is incredible - From a Metroivania point of view it's decent, it's not the best but also not the worst - From a god of war perspectively it's definitely better, it has a lot of old school stuff - Side stuff where ok, mostly not needed - I really like the art style, playstation definitely needs more different art styles Basically there are 2 sides here, if you're a god of war fan then obviously this is a must play since it adds to the lore, story and pure fun. So that way worth asking price However if you're a Metroivania super fan or casual GOW fan then better to wait for a sale if you want to play it. Either way, it's a fun game and Sony needs imo more of these "smaller" scale games.

🚨 SHIKHAR DHAWAN REVEALS THE LOWEST POINT OF HIS LIFE 🚨 Question 🗣️: What was the lowest point of your life? Shikhar Dhawan Said 🗣️: "When I was 21 years old, I went on a tour of Australia to play for India. At that time, I would get attracted to almost every girl I saw. I got into a relationship with one of them, and we partied a lot, had a lot of fun, and I got heavily involved in that lifestyle. Because of that, I couldn’t play the entire series, and my focus completely deteriorated. Then, when she left me, I would slowly break down and cry in the car, and I went through a very depressing phase. After that, I drifted away from the India team circle. If I had performed well in that series, I might have played for the Indian team much earlier. That’s one of the reasons why I made my India debut later than I could have."

Patrick Kane and Oliver Moore came in casual clothes to Connor Bedard's press conference. Bedard thanked them for attending then chirped: "Really dressed up for it, so I'm happy about that." 😂 Kane said after he didn't realize how funny Bedard is: "He's a funny kid. It's probably the first thing I wouldn't think of when I met him." Kane said he actually is enjoying that they’re treating him like a normal teammate: “It’s fun hanging out with these guys because I think they’re getting a little more comfortable with me and starting to make fun of me a little bit. I’m glad they’re feeling comfortable with me and I want that. I want to be part of the group and one of the guys.” #Blackhawks

MR. IG🐻Prescription Play #2🏀 Ja Morant o11.5 Reb+Ast (+100) #GrindCity vs #LakeShow Film. Data. Narratives. What a great play. Show love if you want another play❤️ Lets start with the data because this man is averaging 16.8 Potential Assists across his last 9 games with 25+ minutes. We have also hammered the idea of the Lakers being a horrendous transition defense this season, and we know Ja Morant is at his most fun when he gets out in transition. Expect some easy assists on those plays here. Now as far as the Lakers, they don't hide their strategy of "you are either shooting or passing but you are not driving." While that last matchup was the one that started the drama with his comments about the coaches chewing him out mid-game, it did look like he was figuring out how to read it in the 2nd half. The Grizzlies would put Ja Morant on the wing in an ISO position, with everyone cleared out to the other side. The Lakers would have the big show EARLY help on the near side block. Ja Morant would then read the help of the big man and the weakside corner If the big and corner were helping early, he would drive and find the corner. If the big was helping and the corner wasn't, he would find the big on the opposite block. If the big AND the corner were waiting for him to drive before showing help, he would force the switch onto a lesser defender and put the Lakers into a position where they had to show help. And as far as the rebounding, Ja Morant's defensive role is simple: When there is a corner camper, matchup with the corner camper. With no Reaves, and not matching up on Luka/Lebron, we know this will be the case and should keep him in uncontested weakside rebounding position on any deep shot attempts. This is why he has had 11+ Rebound Chances in 3/4 against the Lakers.

my love for them and their bond will never change… memories that i will always treasure ♡ 🦌 to 🦮: You cooked a lot of jjapaguri and when I play games, you would knock at the door and you would ask "heeseungie hyung, do you want to eat jjapaguri together?" 🦮: One day, I suddenly… as I usually do, I was gonna knock on his door and ask if he wanted to eat a late night snack. But Heeseung hyung suddenly looked deep in thought. Then suddenly, he shared his concern with me. So I was just very thankful it’s because Heeseung hyung listened to my worries a lot. Q. Which member gives the best advice? 🦌: Jake. He'll tell you exactly what you need to hear. 🦮: Oh, I do? What you want to hear~ 🦌: Yeah, what you want to hear~ 🦌: If you want to feel consoled then Jake is really good at that. [Heeseung said to op before at the fansign event that when he had concerns and worries, he talks to Jake]

Dr Wolfe said there’s a direct correlation between the time of day and pedestrian fatalities. Brennan reads this in court and says “that would have been nice to have”. Here’s Dr Wolfe saying exactly THAT during his direct testimony in the first trial. Then, when Dr Wolfe says a lot of his cases involve pedestrians, Brennan says “pretty important stuff in this case”. Yep. That’s why Dr Wolfe testified to that at trial. Then, Brennan suggests that the defense doesn’t want Dr Wolfe to testify to that, doing his dramatic little “shh, don’t tell them”. Funny, Alan Jackson is the one asking these questions and Dr Wolfe is obviously not hiding anything. Jackson said he talked to the ARCCA and experts about background- for example, his nighttime visibility work and his cases frequently involving pedestrians- and scheduling. Brennan just misrepresented ALL of this, plus told the judge that the defense didn’t turn this over, the feds did- which was not true and he had to correct himself after the judge ended things for the day. If you can’t see what he’s doing yet, you just don’t want to.

🚨 TMZ’s Bizarre Play in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping Case The ransom note TMZ received was legit per the FBI — but it never said Nancy was dead. TMZ told the FBI they’d offer to pay the bitcoin ransom themselves “to see where it goes” for a documentary. They asked if it would help without interfering with the investigation or the Guthrie family. FBI called it “interesting”… then ghosted them. How bizarre is that? A media outlet stepping into an active kidnapping probe like this? 😳 (Video: AI)

Indy will come back strong. McConnell and Halliburton are not blaming the refs. They know they have to play better and probably will. They are such a fast team. Skilled and actually fun to watch. It will be tough. We need OG healthy. The national media gives us no respect, in fact has antipathy towards us. Instead of telling the story of how this team has battled to second place in the conference after losing 3 starters most of the season and now, depleted and with a very small rotation, is winning against tough conference rivals and sending them home, they talk about how much they want us to lose and how we can’t last. But. We know. We know who we are. And what we do. And it’s undeniable. We have a special team. And that team is led by this person ⬇️. I like our chances.

Was one of those games. Got my 1st tech down here over this play⬇️ After giving opposing coach a warning for arguing every call, ref decided to disrespect me and my team. I didn’t cuss. Didn’t make it personal. But he certainly did. A college ref once told me that their group would actually talk about me and say if Strick gets after you, you probably did something wrong, because he doesn’t get on refs. This ref is gonna find out soon enough who I am and who I know. Game isn’t about you…or the other team’s coaches or parents…you’re about to find out

Ashen Throne is a post-apocalyptic 4X strategy MMO. Free in the browser, Google Play & iOS. No install, no invite code, no wallet needed to play. The pitch: a real strategy game that pays real money to play it well. Most crypto games hand you a token to farm. Ashen Throne has no token yet. It runs cash tournaments in USDC on Base, and the game underneath is a genuine 4X you would play without them. What a new player gets in a few minutes: • A Crawler – mobile fortress that drives across the world map • Extraction raids for unbanked loot (rivals can take it on the way home) • 24/7 siege over the Citadel’s four districts • Tactical autobattler combat on Kinetic / Electric / Psionic triangle – composition beats headcount Live event: Alliance Cup – $1,000 USDC, August 21–30, paid on Base. Join an alliance, fight one siege battle or hold a wall for an hour → eligible for a share. 30% of a winning alliance’s prize splits equally among every eligible member. Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink spent Wednesday insulting Enes Kanter Freedom instead of answering the only question that matters. Who is allowed to play in the WNBA? Say it plainly. Women only. Adult human females. Done. After practice she told The Mirror that fight is a “non-issue.” Then she called Kanter a stupid piece of s—t and said he was chasing clicks. That is the tell. If the answer were obvious, the league would have written it down. Protecting women’s sports is not clickbait. It is the point of a women’s league. The WNBA made this circus. It left eligibility foggy, then acted shocked when someone walked through the fog with a camera. Kanter is loud. He is also predictable. Ambiguity is catnip. Want the noise to stop? Close the loophole. Make it clear the WNBA is for women only. Then the stunts die. Brink can dislike Kanter all she wants. That does not make the category a “non-issue.” Women deserve a league that will say so out loud.

It’s that time of year again, and like clockwork, they descend on the school in droves—parents who have been ghosts all year, suddenly outraged that their child is failing. They storm in during the final week, demanding answers, meetings, and miracles, as if the report card is some cruel surprise. Never mind the 10, 15, or even 20+ notices we sent home. Never mind the repeated phone calls, the emails, the texts begging for a parent conference. We reached out relentlessly, but radio silence was the only reply… until now. As teachers, we’ve learned the hard way to protect ourselves and our sanity. I keep meticulous records of every single contact attempt—every note sent, every call made, every voicemail left, every email and text. Each student has their own folder in my binder, a complete paper trail of our good-faith efforts. Because this end-of-year ambush is so predictable, our school sets aside a full day just for these parents. We line up tables in the gym like a tribunal of truth. Parents file in one by one. They give us the child’s name, and we calmly retrieve that thick folder. Then, as the complaints and accusations start flying—“You never told me!” “This isn’t fair!”—we begin the quiet, powerful ritual. One by one, we pull out each piece of documentation and lay it on the table in front of them. Dated. Detailed. Undeniable. The yelling fades. The bluster dies. The finger-pointing stops cold as the evidence stacks up right before their eyes. Why not get involved with your child’s education? We have proven data that children whose parents are engaged with the teachers and involved with the school are more successful.
