Dera Ismail Khan Update: Around 7 to 8 Khawarij terrorists launched a heavy-weapon assault on the Dera Ismail Khan Police Training Center. A fierce exchange of fire is ongoing between the terrorists and police personnel. According to initial reports, a suicide bomber detonated himself near the police training center, while in the ensuing gun battle, three terrorists were killed by police return fire. Following the blast, intense firing resumed. Additional police contingents have been dispatched from Ijaz Shaheed Police Lines to reinforce the area. The entire operation is being personally supervised by District Police Officer Dera, Mr. Sajjad Ahmed Sabzdar.
