Every day is full of Scottisms... Last week a pickleball acquaintance snidely told me, "you're so lucky!” after a wicked shot on the only good court at that facility. Me: Yes. Lucky to reserve court 5 for sure, lucky to practice that shot for years, lucky you couldn’t return it, lucky to know you can only do that shot on this court. Whew! 10-8-2 ready?

@ScottAdamsSays Luck is an educated hit instead of the miss. The better you are at something the luckier you are because you when you do miss, your miss is as close to going in without going in. I like to use pool as an example.

@ScottAdamsSays Luck is random i.e. non-deterministic. It's in-built into definition and word. Options, chances, probability distribution, possible impact - these you may build and enable. Remember the opposite. Like some of the people in Switzerland had very, very bad luck.
