She shouldn’t be, and we should not have activists judges corrupted by ideology either.

I like the idea of sending these books to MPs for their Summer reading along with a list of the legislation they need to fix and why to protect free speech. @SpeechUnion

Michael Shellenberger (8 Aug 24): The UK's speech laws give the Government too much discretion to decide who to arrest and who not to. This means the Government can weaponise censorship for political purposes:

Hear hear!

"Set fire to their hotels" - is that "a comment" (as you define it) or a 'call to action'? I've not watched the full video so apologies in advance if the answer is there. We hear a lot about what shouldnt happen, but what should happen to people who incite violence?

Out of interest would that tweet be deemed illegal now with no riots taking place?

What happens if she gets hurt or killed in prison? How is any of this not making a bad situation worse for all political prisoners?

His analysis is spot on. @miller_elio 💦 🚀 👍 🌐 🌟

Applying rational argument to something that I believe is a purely political decision, is pointless. This case, I believe, is designed simply to make example of someone, and that it receives widespread continuous publicity will no doubt be considered advantageous to that cause.
