Luganda is the National language of Uganda 🫡

Luganda isn't the National Language. Ugandans especially @Educ_SportsUg shouldn't give up on the fight to make Swahili our Unity National Language. We need Swahili for EAC regional balance.

After seeing this statistic, man could be right about English It's simply means less than 300, 000 people in this country have got a university education

It’s the lingua Franca of Uganda. Street language. Not national language. Those are two completely different things. It is not even taught to kids in kindergartens near Mengo. Most Baganda actually even speak very wrong Luganda.

This man must have woken up from the wrong side of his bed. Luo is spoken by people in Eastern DRC, S Sudan, N Uganda, E Uganda, SW Ethiopia, W Kenya, and N Tz. They don't force it on anyone! English is spoken by 80% of other Ugandans except Baganda. Kiswahili unites E Africa.

Unfortunately or fortunately you’re yet to achieve any of your goals. The same way u love your language n try to enforce it on others, it’s the same way we love ours. U shld actually also speak other languages the way others speak yours.

But Uganda Constitution has nothing like National language. What we have is official language. We have about 60 National languages comprised in our indigenous communities

He’s very right! I only disagree with him on the number of Ugandans who know English. We can’t be only 4M yet UNSA has a number of 15M students according to there statistics. Every year people graduate in tenth of a thousands for the last 20yrs.
