He's not getting consistent at bats because he's bad at hitting

It's a forever issue for not superstar prospects. You get intermittent playing time and then everybody judges you on that inconsistent PT. Some guys shine regardless, but many struggle. But unless you're in rebuilding mode, which the Giants refuse to do, there's no other option.

He’s gotta outplay Yaz to take his spot. Period. The team is good this year and Yaz is a reason why. Also, Yaz is the longest tenured Giant on the team and that matters.

Sure he needs more at bats, but over who? His positions are all blocked right now

He needs way more consistency he has future all star potential and keeping prospects buried isn't gonna help @SFGiants progress if they continue to fumble prospects
