His pocket awareness / movement is elite

Definitely takes some crazy shots into right windows. With that said he seems remarkably focused under pressure. Every time he had heat on him in those snaps he did a good job of keeping his eyes down the field. He will have to mitigate risky plays and take what’s given to him.

Going through his progressions, but won't have as much time against better defensive lines.

Throws the ball low every time, throws screens into OL helmets, forces balls into coverages he shouldn't, doesn't stand in the pocket, holds the ball too long. It's gonna be tough to watch with him under center.

He has pocket awareness, mobility and isn’t under throwing WRs. Also watching it back, the pick vs Kent State should’ve been called for DPI

His pocket navigation is very good and he takes what’s there. My concern is the speed of the game. Can he handle it in a top 25 matchup on the road after 2 weeks of preparation? I would say most likely.

It really doesn’t look terrible. I feel like both those picks are not his fault (or not really his fault). Looks good in the pocket. Can create plays. It’s not good comp, but the fundamentals are there.

To me he’s very much like Sayin, with better legs. Although I was never huge on Sayin he was growing on me. Wish it was Tavien but Ryan knows them better. Go Buckeyes

The real issue will be if he goes out and lights it up in prime time and then Julian comes back healthy. What does Day do?!
