Both are good. But I feel the remake captured the tone better.

NGL this moment, remake or original, is one of the more understated but by no means insignificant proof of Ataru's love. Also, VERY interesting linguistic time capsule in the original, that they still use "Dracula" to mean "vampire", clearly not yet developed "kyuuketsuki"
