Stablecoin regulation is a bipartisan issue, and the GENIUS Act reflects bipartisan consensus. Thanks to Senator Bill Hagerty, Senator Cynthia Lummis, and Senator Tim Scott, in particular, for keeping the ball rolling on this issue. I hope that in the future we will be able to take up bipartisan legislation without Democrats creating these unnecessary delays.

Not sure about the details of this but here's what I do know. Senator Cynthia Lummis and Rep. Warren Davidson have been trying to give Bitcoin a favored status in Congress for years. They are both Bitcoin ideologues trying to pass laws that would advantage Bitcoin over other digital assets. It's time for a level playing field in crypto. Bitcoin had 10 years of regulatory monopoly. PASS THE CLARITY ACT!
