This is the first African American owned company to trade on the American stock exchange. Known as "Queen of Sheba" in Afro Sheen commercials, Afro Sheen was the first Johnson Products item to praise one's natural hair texture, as opposed to chemically altering it. It was founded by George Ellis Johnson. Johnson Products was the first African American owned company to be exchanged on the stock market.

There was a time when the Walking Dead owned cable television. This show somehow ran for 12 years & was filled with moments. While I think it may have lost some luster in its final seasons, there’s nothing that can top the 2010-2013 run this show went on. This was prestige TV.
