You mean the drains haven't been cleared in years. They're all blocked. When was the last time you saw one of those vehicles?

Bad land and water management is to blame, but it suits the authorities for us to think it’s climate change. That way we’ll clamour for them to take away more of our rights and resources to keep us “safe”.

Good to see you mention drainage system. Most of the rain water systems that are looked after by the local water company (Thames Water) here most of their assets are clogged and don't run. Hence big drainage issues

You think 'tropical' places cope better with Extreme Storms caused by Climate Change? Or extreme heat/famine/floods of any sort/wildfire etc? Nowhere does. Time to DRASTICALLY AND GENUINELY REDUCE EMISSIONS.

Luton is on the River Lea which used to flow alongside New Bedford Rd (I think) and regularly (annually?) used to flood in the 1960s (when I lived in Luton)

This is surface water, nothing to do with the river.
