How does someone who promoted racist views on national television, insulting all Bangladeshis, get nominated for a Gold Logie? The medical doctor Allison Langdon referred to as a "Bangladeshi plastic surgeon" was trained in the UK. Instead of pursuing a lucrative career in Hollywood performing boob jobs, he returned to his homeland to work in a hospital, treating underprivileged children who have been horrifically scarred by burns. I have never met or spoken with this doctor, but his dedication alone suggests he is a remarkable person that we should be listening to. His nationality should have no bearing on his medical expertise, yet Allison Langdon threw it into her commentary in a derogatory way, seemingly to undermine his medical research.
