LWT The Big Match October 1970 Tottenham 1-0 Liverpool Commentator Brian Moore #THFC #COYS #LFC #YNWA

Everything about this clip is superb! The teams. The kits. The crowd. Brian Moore commentating. Jennings/Clemence outstanding. Mike England’s shirt and my old man hands on his head when Martin Peters scores 😂 @Steve6Perryman

Peters and Chivers! And with Gilzean what a strike force!

The crowd reaction to the Perryman and England bookings really is something else in these highlights. Now we're in a situation where every foul can be a booking* - so normal it's treated as run of the mill. *some players are remarkably resilient to this rule!

Great clip

First time I went to Tottenham. My Dad took me. I was 7. I remember Mike England’s bloodied shirt. Great game. I’m now 63. Where’s the time gone?!

Do you happen to have the clip of the Glenn Hoddle volley that he scored against Nottingham Forest at White Hart Lane? I was there for that match.
