M^0 is a decentralized infrastructure layer for $M, a next-gen stablecoin backed by high-quality real-world reserves like U.S. treasuries. Issued by a federation of minters, $M enhances programmability and transparency as an advanced digital representation of the US dollar. Minters can also choose to extend $M into their own stablecoin. By leveraging NTT as its official interop framework, the utility of $M and its extensions will be preserved across chains while avoiding liquidity fragmentation. Issuers of stablecoins extending $M also gain automatic multichain capabilities. Working alongside M^0 integrators such as @eulerfinance, @ChronicleLabs, and @MezoNetwork, M^0 aims to drive adoption and liquidity across chains, furthering its mission to make decentralized stablecoins more programmable, interoperable, and less fragmented.
