UH-1 door gunner pours fire into the treeline with his M60 as what appears to be a Long-range reconnaissance patrol is evacuated in Vietnam. The eclectic mix of equipment and weaponry is interesting, the first man to board has what is likely an AN/PRC-25 radio on his back, followed by an M60 gunner and a man armed with a Stevens Model 77 12 gauge shotgun with its stock sawn off. The fourth man has an M72 LAW rocket launcher in his backpack while the last man to board is armed with what appears to be an XM177 carbine, a weapon that was not issued to regular troops and notably used by MACV-SOG units.
